The “E-Book Club” : Digitization is becoming the new "norm"

 

Are you looking for people to discuss literature with? It can be hard to read alone and have no one to share some knowledge with, and that’s where the idea of E-Book Club comes into place. 

In most cases we know the book clubs as some old white ladies ‘type of a thing’, not really realizing that even in our country there are some people who really enjoy reading with others.  Some of those readers interested in book clubs include the younger generation, but since from the beginning the book club was labeled as ‘old ladies type of a thing’, which becomes a problem for the youth to join as it does not feel cool enough in the eyes of their peers. This solution could eliminate the age division, E-Book Club provides families with an affordable and convenient way to bring the best in everyone’s literature.

The E-Book Club digitize all the book club meetings, only this time the youth can freely join and whoever wherever can also join. On top of that, there would be some well known authors book readings which pretty much been stopped due to corona-virus pandemic.

The club meetings would be held through video conferencing, or Skype, or Google Meet depending on the numbers of member available during the meeting. With this type of firm online, it allows the manager to work remotely. 

In order for the book Club to be digital, club member would need to at least own a smartphone or a laptop, there’s a need for efficient internet connection, video conferencing equipment. The country may be on lockdown but that won’t stop the club members to have their meetings or  some established authors book reading anytime they want.

Imagine having your kids’ favorite author reading their favorite book at night? That would be nice and also serve as the bed time story for them.

The daily operations of the E-Book club; planning meeting(like who will be the host), or what author will do the book reading will be online. Even though some famous authors are hard to schedule the physical appointments with, now they can have a book reading session in the comfort of their own home and on their own time but the wait will not be as bad as it would should there be the need for physical appointment.
